A-T featured at 7th annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards
Audio-Technica microphones were featured at the world premier Latin music awards show — the 7th Annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards — which was held Nov. 2 at Madison Square Garden in New York. The show was broadcast live on the Univision Network.
John Harris, Music Mixer for the 7th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards explained, “I used a wide selection of Audio-Technica microphones at the 48th Annual GRAMMY Awards with great success, and I wanted to have that same kind of reliability and audio performance at the Latin GRAMMYs. I need to have the highest level of sonic consistency from artist to artist, and that what I get with Audio-Technica.”
Artists who performed using Audio-Technica Artist Elite® 5000 Series UHF Wireless System with the AEW-T5400 handheld microphone/transmitter and AEW-R5200 true diversity frequency-agile dual receiver included: Thalía, Grupo Pesado, Joan Sebastian, Gilberto Santa Rosa, and Andy Montañez.
The Latin GRAMMY Awards, a high-profile celebration of Latin culture on U.S. airwaves, also has an impact in more than 100 international markets, focusing millions of eyes and ears on Latin music.
